In tvwo 4-6 en thavo 4-5, pupils have chosen their subject package and can continue further in the Senior School with bilingual education. A minimum of 30% of the study is in English and includes subjects such as Social Studies, Cultural Artistic Training, Science for Public Understanding, and the profile project. Moreover, pupils take their English a step further with English-plus lessons and do the International Baccalaureate (IB) exam alongside the havo/vwo exam. The International Baccalaureate (IB) exam is an internationally recognised diploma.
In so doing, they not only do the national exams for their havo/vwo diploma, but they also get an IB-English certificate and a Senior TTO Certificate (the route towards certification as a Senior TTO School started in the school year 2010-2011). This gives them the opportunity to be able to study almost anywhere in the world. The vwo/havo diploma is recognized worldwide and with the IB-certificate for English it won’t be necessary to do an intake to demonstrate their level of English.
Of course, the pupils are able to take part in a large number of activities, such as Model United Nations as well as participate in exchange programmes with other schools as well as a whole range of educative trips abroad.
